It’s Never Too Late to Get Strong

I'm Grant Oppy—74 years old, current Australian Masters Powerlifting Record Holder (70–74 division), and living proof that strength has no age limit.

I didn’t grow up lifting. I didn’t compete in my youth. In fact, I didn’t touch a barbell seriously until I was 65 years old. That’s right—my transformation began after most people retire.

Within a few years, I was stepping onto national platforms, setting records, and rewriting what “aging” is supposed to look like.


Why I Do This

Because I’ve lived what most people don’t believe is possible.
Because too many people write themselves off too soon.
And because I want you to know: you’re not done yet.
